Hi folks,
In the past few weeks, we’ve been busy tuning the Channels server, and I’m happy to let you know that it runs pretty stable so far! As promised, the development of the iPhone app has just been started. Pagico on iPhone will provide quick access to your Inbox data AND data that are being shared in Channels, plus a Today screen that shows all your upcoming and overdue tasks.
We’ll for sure disclose more details about the app as we go further into the development. Here, I’d just like to say “thank you” to all of you who provided feedback to us regarding this iPhone app. All your inputs have helped shaping the app, and we really appreciate it!
Stay tuned,
Ryo
Please make it a universal app so it can run at high-res on the iPad as well
@Adrian,
But, to be responsible for our users, we’ll need to completely redesign for the iPad, which is quite a different device than iPhone, and I’m sure you’ll agree with me on this.
Thanks for the reminder — we won’t forget about iPad.
This is great! Please include cloud syn via dropbox. Just like 1password! Thanks. Long
I have to say, I think an Android App would be just as useful. Especially since Dropbox is already an App on the Droid platform
@Long and @Joshua,
Thanks for the comments! But it won’t rely on dropbox for syncing — since there’s no way for our app to access the data stored in the Dropbox app. Our app will utilize our own cloud servers (the channels service) to achieve data synchronization.
And also, we’re testing water with some cross-platform frameworks. And if they do work out, an Android app won’t be too long after the iPhone app since the majority code base should be compatible.
Hope this helps!
Ryo
