05.12
Hello all,
I know we’re supposed to full speed ahead on the Pagico v4 project, but… here’s another release for the Mac.
In this release, you might notice that the build number remains the same as the last one, as it does NOT involve any new feature-wise improvement or bug-fix. Instead, it comes with a fix for a bug that’s outside of Pagico.
For Mac OS X 10.4 users, you might experience a issue like this: some times Pagico lost all its user interface, leaving you with some cluttered text-based interface. This is largely due to the way Mac OS X 10.4 handles cached data.
So this release, is here to fix this issue, which seems to ONLY affect Mac OS X 10.4 users.
So, if you have the issue mentioned above, go ahead and download Pagico again and install it. For others, no action is required.
Thanks so much, and now we’re back to the exciting 4.0 release…
Cheers!
Dear Pagico team,
I am super excited about new pagico 4 preview.
Pagico 3.3 is lacking in few areas, but overall it is best product there is on windows xp market and it will remain as such.
I have only two requests for your pagico 4:
1. dashboard reordering
2. contexs
Allow me to explain:
1. I would like to freely reorder my tasks shown in dashboard for few reasons. Simple as that.
2. Contex is a GTD method of filtering tasks: I have two contexs: @work and @home
What I would like to have is one single database for both of my work and home life. In pagico 3.3 the dashboard will get super cluttered if I try to add tasks for both home and work.
So when I am at work I would like to click @work contex and have pagico show me only stuff tagged for work (especialy in dashboard) and same for @home. When trying to pick a date for a meeting I need to see if it won’t collide with my work and currently that means opening 2 datebases and checking that with a pen and paper for notes.
Hope you will consider these suggestions.
I wish you all the best with this new project and simply can’t wait to get my hands on first build.
with regards
BG
Hi Meng,
Is it the Pagico v3.3 r638b available from the Download or is there another link to access it?
If that’s the one available from the download then sorry but it doesn’t fix the problem. I started Pagico once and it worked well, then a second time and it was back to the text version with loss of the graphical user interface.
Cheers
Hi Lafontaine,
You just need to download again and install. It *should* fix the issue… at least it did on our ends.
So how about this, you uninstall Pagico first, using the uninstaller in the Pagico folder. Then, make sure you’re getting the *new* r638, and try it again.
Let me know if it works or not.
Thanks!
Hi,
I did try this solution but same issue. Actually by deinstalling and re-installing it took two runs before the graphics completely dissapeared. The first run worked fine, the second run saw the font changed to Times and the side graphics a bit weird and at the third run all graphics had dissapeared.
Any news Meng?
Any chance I’ll get it working with Safari 4?
