Hello there, I know we’ve just released a beta build yesterday this time, but due to a mistake in the packaging process, some of the addressed issues weren’t really there in the previous build.

Therefore, this new r854 is more like a bug-fix build plus some more interesting improvements. Here’s the list:

  • Greatly improved the Data Detector feature and addressed several related bugs
  • Greatly improved clipping feature (the black popup panel), now users can easily create tasks for either Inbox or everything else (topics and profiles)
  • Addressed the issue that on Mac OS X, Pagico couldn’t open / load databases stored in folders containing special characters
  • Several other minor issues

So, if you’re interested, please feel free to download.

;-)

  1. Hello, my datbase in the “Büro” folder is now opened properly. Maybe something is wrong with my system but in all databases the “text paragraph” template is still scattered (only the first time after new installing it works fine); vcf import in all ways is impossible still.
One more hint for a better workflow with pagico: Files imported into the database open and can be saved, the “show in folder”-button shows the file in the database-package (for example folder G0000068 contains “notizen.pdf”). Thats ok. But when I don’t import but only link a file to the database the “show in folder”-button also shows only the alias in the database and not the original file in the system. For me it would be a help if pagico could lead me to the original file. By the way: clicking on the linked file in pagico doesn’t effect anything. I first have to find the alias in the database. Clicking on it then works. Regards

  2. Hi, one more little thing. When click on http://www.xyz.com, the data-picker shows me Web adress and visit. But trying to do it nothing happens. I first have to change the line into “http://www.xyz.com”. Then everything works fine. Regards

  3. Hi sorry, the line was “www.xyz.com” first. Without http!!

  4. @Joachim,
I’m glad that your databases now can be opened successfully!
Thanks for mentioning the two issues (domain name without http:// and the show in finder behavior with linked files), they’ll be fixed in upcoming releases.

    :)
