@Meng

Hi Meng. Would not be possible to run Pagico's index search WITH RESULTS without launching the whole Program? It is possible with Google Desktop Search and also Microsoft Windows Search (has 2 modes: quick mode and full mode too).

And then "moving it to the system" means full bidirectional drag & drop. Meaning not just into the Pagico but also out of Pagico. That is of crucial importance for speed use of Pagico's objects, eg. to send quickly some file in email, or drop a picture into document (so far one has to first save the file somewhere and then it is finally possible to drag and drop further - can that first unnecessary step be avoided for such cases please?).

= for quick add, find, and assign (?!) to use Pagico Helper. Or at least first two please...;-)

Thanks! :-)

@Jozef,

Making the helper also available for quick search might not really work as you think --- as everything's still in your Pagico database, whatever you've got from the search result may still require you to launch Pagico to see the found items.

By "moving it to the system", did you mean moving items from Pagico database to users' file system? Or the other way around? I mean, right now you can import files from file system into Pagico database by dragging and dropping.

Thanks!!:)

@Meng

Don't you worry, as long as you work on the new features and bug fixes, I wait ;-)

btw. Pagico Helper will hopefully besides Quick Add also include Quick find. Therefore without the need to open whole Pagico find something and with simple drag & drop move it to the system => if you really consider Pagico helper as quick and efficient tool to do things.

Thanks for listening my friend :-)

Thanks for your comment!
But nope, the next blog post is still not the Pagico 4 beta. Sorry mate. :-D

But it's coming, very soon. Stay tuned, my friend.

@Meng
Would love to help, but my languages are Slovak, Czech, English and a bit of German :-( So far I can only offer some ideas, hints, improvements and functionality testing. Maybe in the future marketing of Pagico ;-)

Take care. And next blog entry is gonna be about release of Pagico 4.0 beta. Hurrah! :-)
