GTD (Get Things Done) approach on Pagico
GTD (Getting things done) is increasingly becoming popular and widely-implemented. “Can I obtain GTD on Pagico?” Definitely yes! Collect your ideas in Pagico
It’s for sure that you can write your ideas, plans etc on paper, PDA and whatever. Why not try Pagico! Its outstanding performance never makes people disappointed. There are several places in Pagico that you can store your “stuff”. They are Stickies, Pages and Contacts.
Stickies to quickly record ideas that suddenly rush into your brain; Topics to organize your ideas along with other relevant information; Relations to collect ideas related to a certain people.
Stickies, Topics and Relations can be considered as “Inbox” of all your “stuff”. This way you don’t have to keep everything in mind, just let Pagico keep them for you.
Draw action frame using Pagico
According to GTD principles, when you have everything settled properly, you can start thinking what it is and what the next action should be. Pagico allows you to draw action frame where you organize your ideas. You get everything resemble in Pagico.
You can create a checklist including all to-dos in the topic where you keep your ideas. You can set an event-related task or a people-related task for your next action in “Topics” or “Relations” respectively.
Review your checklist and your actions using Pagico
Get yourself reviewed regularly is considered of great importance in GTD process. Pagico provides you with opportunities to get aware of what you have done and what to do next. You can browse all your tasks and activities in Dashboard. It’s easy to catch the idea what you have to do since both tasks and activities are listed separately as in the past, this week, next week and in the future.
Tagging activities is another useful method to self-reflection. Tag your activities, e.g. phone calls, meetings, negotiations etc with their subjects and your remark. You need to be able to place tags on the tasks to allow them to be organized by project or type. Task s only seem to sortable by person. The tasks also cannot be attached to topics. Every other data type can be attached to everything else. Give the tasks the same flexibility. Also you need to be able to import standard task lists on people or topic. That way each client could be given a standard setup list of tasks. This is an impressive package but you really need to work on how the tasks are handled.
I agree with Ed, please add it as soon as possible.
How do I set repeptitive tasks? For example I would like to be reminded to check on a certain web site every thursday.
