sorry to disagree, but the comment “Pagico´s Contact feature is not a replacement for your address book” is wrong. And I thought you aim to use Pagico to organise all information. Well, so maybe I was wrong. As long as Pagico will be “just another program to use that PARTIALLY COVERS DATA ORGANISATION NEEDS” I do not see the reason to use it. What I am looking for is FULL DATA COVERAGE WITH IMPORT/EXPORT FROM/TO DIFFERENT PROGRAMS, or even better, with AUTOSYNC. Pagico´s advantage would be then in ability to hold much more information and in more sofisticated (database like) way enabling intelligent information handling that greatly adds value to the user´s knowledge base. Do I want too much?

I fully understand what you’re saying. And it is not unreasonable if Pagico could just replace everything. But in our opinion, why do we need to re-invent something when we can work with the tools that people are already familiar with? In this case, you still need to work with your Address Book for storing all contacts. And for those important contacts, you import them into Pagico and build profiles for them.
This is the same case for the calendar feature, too. Pagico provides you an intuitive flowchart to represent all your tasks. But when you really need to see everything in a regular month-based calendar, you can link up Pagico with iCal to take advantage of all the power of iCal.
On the other hand, being able to work with existing powerful tools not only saves us time building it, but also saves users time by not having to learn new features / UIs.
Therefore, those are our ideas behind all feature designs.
That being said, we’re never stopping on the way of improving the level of data integration that Pagico currently does. We will definitely do everything we can to enhance it, implement two-way sync between 3rd party applications to make things work out even better. The two-way sync between Pagico and Address Book (and similar apps on other platforms) is already in our plan.

Yes, I read your pages almost completely, so I know you mentioned that already somewhere: That you do not try to reinvent the wheel. And that is not really needed. But I am really tired of using Outlook for my contacts, Gmail for my emails, Office Suite to write anything, browser to search the web, Picasa to sort my pictures, Folders to store my movies (have not found yet any usable database soft for those), task program to do my projects,… really, really anoying.
What I seek, and Pagico could do it, is ONE SINGLE DATABASE FOR EVERYTHING. I would throw in all my data and take them out very easily. It would offer link to external applications – like you have done with Office files – but had also its own build in engine for viewing the files: office docs, pdf files, pictures, movies etc. through open source extensions, or at least freeware suggested alternatives.
My contact in LinkIn, Facebook, Gmail, Outlook, Mobile, iPod are really a nice unsorted mess. Pagico although alows to assign values out of ordinary vCard, which is quite nice. But to do such a simple thing as to import all contacts from any of external programs and then export to a common csv format to be used wherever, that is not the case yet.
EXPORT/IMPORT + basic readibility (not necessarily editability) of common files. I really do not understand why all available solutions lack some of these basic features – including Gmail, Facebook, Outlook, OneNote, Evernote and Pagico.
Do not get me wrong. I would love to use Pagico, or any other program, that allows that. But there is none. In year 2010, 30 years after computers started to be massively used, SINGLE POINT OF STORAGE AND REFERENCE does not exist. And I have a feeling that the first one to achieve that will not be any system like Windows, Mac nor Ubuntu, or Program like OneNote, MindManager, Outlook, Evernote (although that one is very close to it), Bento etc. but some Web Portal. Or Pagico, if that is the way developers decide to to.
Pagico implementing user data from various sources and exporting to various sources back.But only thanks to Pagico could user see “interesting connections and possibilities” = information leverage effect due to smart synergies.

To run on iPad, you will probably have to go the road I have previously suggested: Allow standard import/export of contacts and other files. Pagico is ideal for sortings. Then one can use Safari°s native ability to read various common office files to view files. Well again then: PAGICO AS ONE SINGLE DATABASE FOR EVERYTHING. Would be really super.
Pagico based on WebKit – offline/online possibilities. Within 3 years more than half of users will have remote access to their data placed in some cloud service, or home computer/server. But still there is no program, that unites all data categories under one hood – database of contacts, office files, photos, videos, notes with ability to read most common ones within app and export/import to/from common formats.

Yes, creating an iPad version of Pagico is definitely a great move and I can envision a lot of things you can do on it. We’ll see how iPad works when it comes out. At the mean time, we’ve already started experimenting with the SDKs for iPhone and iPad.

I agree with many of the points Jozef is highlighting above. I bought your program with the hope that I could put aside many other apps: Things, TheHitList, iGTD, Journler, Notebook, etc. This lack of coherence between these apps is against the Mac design: integration by design. We are almost in as bad of a situation as in Microsoft Hell World: lots of apps but few are talking to each other or even able to import/export to each other other than the MS Office Suite formats.
So, the hope with your product is that you will make Pagico the glue that holds the email, address book, calendar and specific project/to do lists together in some fashion that would reduce the data entry and help the user see the important data at a glance when needed where needed. In other words, I hope for Pagico to be my focus point in my day. So far so good. Thank you for that.
One request I have that I think is not implemented: repeating tasks are not allowed ? or are they ?
Also, what about delegation ? is that something that could be added ?
