Pagico v5.3 is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion

The next major update of Mac OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion is just around the corner! So today I’d like to let you know that Pagico v5.3 has been extensively tested under 10.8 and is fully compatible with the new OS. So feel free to upgrade when the new cat gets here!

While the app itself works well with the new operating system, backing up your database(s) is still highly recommended, as you will never know what might happen to an OS upgrade. Backing up your data is very easy, simply make copies of your databases (extension name “.pgco”) and store them at a different location (hard drive, cloud-based storage, etc).

Just in case…

During the course of the OS upgrade, many system-wide shared software components will be changed. Some of those may occasionally be “down-graded” to an older version, which may cause issues with 3rd-party applications including Pagico. If Pagico does fail to launch after the upgrade, simply download the installer from our website and run the installation again and the issue should go away.

Cheers,

Ryo
