Today we’re excited to announce the release of Pagico 9.7 (build number 20201202). This version aims to improve your overall file management experience in a number of areas:
Faster file import, especially when large number of files are involved;
Increased information density: file objects are rendered more closely together so you get to see more data;
Quick filter that lets you type a few letters to find the things you want instantly;
Handy view switch controls to easily toggle between grid views and list views.
With these improvements in place, managing files is surely going to be a lot easier than before. However, we know we still have a long way to go. More improvements are coming to further speed up your workflow!
Greetings! Today we are excited to release Pagico 9 rev.20201124 20201125 that brings a number of small improvements that contribute to an enhancement in teamwork user experience.
Items modified by your teammates will be highlighted to better locate and identify those changes
Simplified the process of creating new teams
Fixed some inconsistent use of wordings (workspaces vs. teams)
Removed confusing cost descriptions for users with team service plans
Fixed an issue where newly joined teams may get stuck at the “initial sync is underway, please wait” stage
Improved the experience of creating new project and contacts in teams
Fixed an issue where changes to certain files were not tracked for data sync
Pagico will generate appropriate alert messages when content of your interest (e.g. your content, or content that you starred) is modified by your teammates
A new Activity Feed view in Team workspaces and an activity preview card in the Team Dashboard views to help you easily catch up with all the recent changes
Server-side optimization that speeds up the data sync process when large quantity of content is present in the workspace*
* In case you’re curious — one of the things that Pagico server needs to do during data sync cycles, is to figure out what the server has and compare that to what your software provided. This data computation process used to take a bit of time due to inefficiencies in our codebase. In a test Team workspace with over 6,000 projects, this computation process took an average of 26 seconds. After the revision, this process now completes in less than 1 second. That’s a whopping 33x improvement!
Over the past few days, we pushed a number of smaller updates. Collectively, they brought the following feature improvements and bug fixes:
Apple Silicon Support (Universal Binary)
Project Title Images, a recently added feature, will now also show up in exported project archives as well as public share. Your publicly shared projects will now look better than ever!
New Duplicate menu command for list items. Now you can quickly duplicate list items with ease!
Hyperlink preview, another recently added feature from a few months ago, received a visual update. The hyperlink previews now take much less footprint than before, making your content flow better while still preserving the information.
Minor UI adjustments on the minified sidebar appearance. Now the minified sidebar has the same width as the toolbar’s height.
Pagico will now prompt users (just once) to enable the Personal Cloud option upon first launch
The activation screen now offers a convenient link to retrieve activation code if needed
Pagico will automatically connect to newly created workspaces (no need to manually click on the connection refresh link)
Fixed an issue where tasks imported from Zapier may run into issues when trying to copy or move
Fixed an issue where the list titles may not be correctly included in smart searches
Fixed an issue where the chat counters for teams may incorrectly show up when no new messages are available
In-view search matches will now be correctly highlighted
